Today we have launched the 2xSundblad Academy and its first course – Five
Architect Roles for Improved Business Agility. The Academy’s mission is to
provide the best available online training for people involved in the
architecting and implementation of service-oriented business software, which
truly supports the business, its architecture, and its strategy. The ultimate
purpose of such software is to help businesses improve their functionality,
become more agile, and thus add to their long-term competitive abilities.
These ideas are central to the curriculum planned for the Academy. This
curriculum consists of two suites of courses, each suite containing five
courses. The names of the suites are
Architecting the Electronically Serviced Enterprise and
Implementing the Electronically Serviced Enterprise.
The first course is released and made available today together with the Academy.
The second course – Service-Oriented Architectural Patterns – will be released
and made available later this spring.
